Your home is wonderful! Having planned for our stay at Quinta das Glicinias for over a year and our seeing photos on the internet, we really, really had high expectations and exceeded every expectation we had.

What a marvellous home! A Quinta das Glicinias was so well equipped and comfortable that we felt right at home after our first morning breakfast there, having a wonderful Welcome Basket for us with Butter, Marmelade and fresh local delicious bread . We rarely ate out and your kitchen had everything we needed, plus. The sea was perfect, so my surfing was well tested, being at Quinta das Glicinias still made this one of our best vacations. The pool was also a good substitute for the sea and we spent many an hour in and around it in your wonderful garden. We caught every sun set at the beach - WOW what a view…. I could go on and on but truly thank you for providing a home that felt like home and your hospitality was graciously felt.

We loved the Sintra Cascais Mountain so much, that we decided to stay here forever..

The villa and the garden are great – we all loved the views and the fact that even at the height of the heat wave during our 14 day stay there was a wonderful ocean breeze. The retreat in the pine forest was an experience, one of tremendous relaxation. I just wanted to let you know, we that really enjoyed ourselves at Quinta das Glicinias by the Sea. Our initial reaction: "why would we leave?" The views from every Terrace and direction were fabulous. Like kids, we scurried from Terrace to Pool to take in the views. We had a designated eating spot for every meal. Ventured out on daily tours to Sinatra. Cabo do Roca , Cascais, Estoril and visited the beaches. We enjoyed the experience at Quinta das Glicinias with beautiful sunrises, moonlight and ocean breaking against the shore throughout the day and night . Hopefully, we will make another trip back to the Quinta das Glicinias. Thank you for sharing your home - it's been a relaxing and pleasurable experience.

I wanted to let you know that everything met and exceeded our expectations. The house is beautiful. The view is spectacular. We have stayed in many rental houses and your home is definitely one of the best to find rest. You have thought of EVERYTHING that we could have needed. The scenery was so soothing! The garden and the pool were wonderful. Cocktails on the Terrace ...we learned to know the excellent wines we found at the Mini Market from Mr. Dias. Breakfast on the Terrace over looking Praia de Macas and the ocean was such a joy! We all had a very relaxing week and your home really added to our pleasure.

This was our first time to Quinta das Glicinias. It was a wonderful getaway for our 20 year anniversary.  Quinta das Glicinias is a beautiful and wonderful private place to stay.  What a great view! My husband loved all the spices he could cook with; he enjoyed having a well stocked kitchen.  We enjoyed eating at Quinta das Glicinias outside and also going out to the many fresh fish restaurants…..Thanks for having a great place for us to get away & relax.

Brad and I visited Portugal 18 years ago for our honeymoon. We've been back a few times and always stayed in a friend's home. This is the first time with our kids and in a rental home. Most days we opted to just stay there instead of going to one of the beaches, and that’s very rare for me! We stayed at your villa in May and can’t stop talking about it!!! Everything was perfect!!! We brag to all our friends and they get sooo jealous when they see the pictures!!!..... Can't say enough about our stay there. Your villa was beautiful; we really enjoyed the pool when we got back from all our day trips and the beautiful beaches!! My neighbours stayed at a villa the week before us and they complained about all the noise from construction. We had none. They were jealous after hearing our stories and seeing our great pictures. We can’t wait to get back to Quinta das Glicinias Like almost everyone these days I lead a hectic life, but whenever it starts to get to me I take a deep breath, close my eyes, and picture myself in my favourite Quinta das Glicinias spot – gently swaying on the hammock as I watch the Birds . Every family member had their own favourite spots. Our three year old loved splashing in the pool and watching DVDs in “his” room (we moved a few of the vases and art pieces to kid proof the living room). My husband couldn’t get enough of the pool , and my son loved seeing the lamipires . The whole family loved cooking our favorite meals and eating on the terrace. The owners left us lots of information about sightseeing, hotspots, and
dining, but honestly we didn't want to leave Quinta das Glicinias! We’ll be coming back for our next anniversary!

This was our first visit to Quinta das Glicinias. We really love everything about the Sintra Cascais Naturpark and the villa. With the pool, Garden Proximity to the Ocean,Kitchen, etc., you have done everything to make guests feel at home. Please continue to do all the little things that make Quinta das Glicinias so nice. We will visit again. We had a wonderful 2 weeks 2 years ago in the Patio House of sun, beautiful warm pool & ocean. The flowers were impressive. I loved our vacation at Quinta das Glicinias. That’s why we stayed this year for 5 weeks at the villa. For us having Internet, I can work and still  be in Lord Byrons “ Garden of Eden”.

We had an excellent time during the Euro 2004! We couldn't have asked for a better trip! We have been friends for several years and have gone on many vacations together. We can't possibly explain how wonderful it was to anyone that wasn't there! When I came back to work, I said: "It was really rough, getting up each morning deciding which beach to go to today and at night going to the Soccer games. Often contemplating what possible job we could do to move to the Sintra Region and Quinta das Glicinias! We surfed at several beaches and saw many great things! It was awesome! By the way, the beach Sunset was awesome as well! Ok, so you get the idea! We LOVED it!!
