Is the price per person?
No, the price is per day or per week, for the entire house
There are maid or other extra services included in the price?
The price includes a cleaning and change of towels and beds once a week.
Also a change of towels only is also included at the mid of the week.
Extra cleaning or maid services can be requested and paid separatly
Is breakfast included in the price?
No, breakfast is not inlcuded in the price, but can be arranged separately if wished.Fresh bread is usually provided at the door every morning.
Is heating included in the price?
Yes, heating is included in the price
Can we settle all our accounts on arrival?
Due to the fact that we reserve the house, we request a prepayment to secure the reservation.
It’s not usual to set the account on arrival, the normal way is to settle 50% when reserving and an additional 50% 1 month before arrival
Are pets welcome?

At what time can we check-in and out?
If the house has been occupied until the day you arrive, it might not be ready before 3pm. In case the house was not been occupied the same day you checking in, then you welcome to cjeck in already in the morning.
Regarding checking out time, please check with us and in case no guests are arriving the same day, a late check out may be possible. If the house needs to be prepared for the next guests, then guests are requested to check out latest by 10.30 am
Can we have delay at the check in?
Everything is possible if needed. It’s advisable that you inform us of your estimated arrival time
Does the reception speak English or other languages?
There is no reception at Quinta das Glicinias. There is a main house, where the hosts live in, who speak English, French, German and Portuguese and a little Spanish.
Villas and Cottages
How many floors are there in the building?
The Villa 2 floors, the Cottage ground floor and 1 Loft and the Patio house has only 1 floor
Are there comfortable, quiet, private, romantic rooms?
All the rooms are rustic, elegant and romantic, very comfortable and quiet. All houses are charming and comfortable
How far are the villa, the cottage and the Patio house from the Pool and the Gym ?
Patio house 150 meters , Cottage 50 mtrs and the Villa is also 50 m from the oposite direction.
The Gym is at the pool house
If the villa is rented, the other Cottages remain vacant or are rented ?
All 3 guest houses are independent and may be or may be not rented at the same time. However as each individual house has it’s own outdoor space, guests wont even notice if the other houses are or not occupied. Th property is set in different levels, allowing privacy to each individual house.
The only common space is the pool, which is a very large pool, with also several sitting corners, allowing each family to have it’s own privacy
Is the outside Villa garden area common to the other guest houses ?
No. The gardens of the Villa is private to the Villa, the pátio house has a samll secluded pátio and the cottage has also it’s own area in the Pines area.
Is there a swimming pool?
Yes, the swimming pool is a large heated 6X16 meter pool, with amazing overlooking view,of the Ocean and the Serra de Sintra and surrounded by Palm trees and various types of plants
There are chairs , tables near the swimming pool and in the garden ?
Yes, there are many lounges , wooden lounge and garden chairs and tables in all area outside, as well as tables by the barbecue area and in the individual gardens.
Are linens and towels provided?
Yes, linens and the towels are provided and beds are made. Bed linen are changed once a week and towels twice a week
Beach / swimming pool towels can be provided upon request
Do the villa/apartments have a terrace/courtyard, view ?
VILLA : In the first floor there are big windows amazing view of Lawn with trees and beautyful flowers in the Garden- there is a charming little panoramic patio overlooking the pool to have breakfast or enjoy reading book , near the living room is a pergola with garden table and a small portable BBQ.. The villa has from the 2nd Floor panoramic View of the Ocean and the Serra de Sintra overlooking the Beach City of Apple Beach and a long panoramic view as far as Ericeira
PATIO HOUSE : there are panoramic windows with View of Castle of Pena and a small secluded patio
COTTAGE : there is a nice Terrace with a table sitting 4 with view to the pine trees in a superb quiet environment
Are there a TVs in the Villa , Patiohouse, Chalet ?
Yes. In the Villa , Patiohouse, Chalet, there are TVs, DVds and Satellite international channels

Yes, there are many toys for children on the Property and you can find also many children Playground near by . within range of 2-3 Km
Is the Pool suitable for children?
Yes, but with supervision of the parents

Yes, Patio house and Villa have central heating
Cottage has 2 electrical heaters, and are sufficient as the wood provides a very tempered ambiance
Is the Air conditioning in the Villa, in Patio House or in the Cottage?
In this area we have the ocean brease and no air condition is needed, it’s never excessive hot

Almocageme , 3 minutes by car, 15 minutes walk
Which is the nearest airport?
Lisbon airport, 40 km 45 Euros cost by Taxi
